Gmina Pruszcz pozyskała dofinansowanie z Wojewódzkiego Funduszu Ochrony Środowiska i Gospodarki Wodnej w Toruniu na demontaż, transportu oraz unieszkodliwienia odpadów zawierających azbest. Pomoc przewidziana jest dla właścicieli nieruchomości, którzy planują wymianę pokrycia dachowego od 1 kwietnia do 31 września 2020 r.
Aby skorzystać ze wsparcia, należy do końca stycznia złożyć wniosek w Urzędzie Gminy w Pruszczu (biuro nr 2 lub biuro podawcze).

Po usunięciu azbestu z nieruchomości właściciele są zobowiązani dostarczyć do urzędu gminy informację o usunięciu wraz z dołączoną kartą przekazania odpadów azbestowych na uprawnione składowisko, która będzie podstawą do wykreślenia z Bazy Azbestowej prowadzonej przy Ministerstwie Rozwoju. (Do Bazy Azbestowej po przeprowadzonej inwentaryzacji zostały przekazane informacje odnośnie ilości wyrobów zawierających azbest na poszczególnych nieruchomościach – obowiązek usunięcia azbestu w terminie do 31 grudnia 2032 r.).
Utylizacji azbestu we własnym zakresie (poza projektem) można dokonać na składowisku odpadów niebezpiecznych w Małociechowie w cenie ustalonej przez zarządzającą składowiskiem firmę Eco-Pol.
